Most of us believe that our conscious mind controls our lives. We make daily decisions, convinced that we are rational individuals doing our best within the circumstances we face. However, this belief overlooks the profound influence of subconscious factors that shape our thoughts, behaviors, and choices. Our so-called rationality is seriously contaminated by many things, as is our ability to be a person of genuine loving-kindness.

Hello, I’m David Lowry for Presence and Peace. Thank you for being here today.

The Hidden Forces Shaping Our Lives

The truth is that our thoughts and behaviors are deeply influenced by factors such as family, friends, culture, social standing, personal drives, passions, religious upbringing, and childhood traumas. These influences often operate beneath the surface of our awareness, hidden from our conscious mind. Yet just because they aren’t at the forefront of our thoughts doesn’t mean they haven’t profoundly shaped who we are and how we make decisions.

The Presence: The Guiding Force Within

Few people realize that our daily lives are guided by a powerful force we call The Presence. This Presence determines the people, places, and experiences we encounter daily. It is the unique spark of the Divine within each of us, making us distinctly different from one another. Full of boundless knowledge and wisdom, The Presence has a purpose: to arrange the circumstances of our lives so that we learn essential lessons. These lessons awaken us to its existence and enable us to allow it to transform us into beings of love in all that we do.

The Compromised Mind

Despite our best intentions, our unconscious drives often prevent us from being as kind, rational, loving, or compassionate as we believe ourselves to be. These hidden influences significantly compromise an ordinary person’s mind, thoughts, and behaviors. This disconnect between who we think we are and who we truly are creates what might be called “soul wounds.”

The Path to Healing: Connecting with The Presence

The only way to overcome these soul wounds is by learning to connect with The Presence. This connection can begin to detoxify our thinking, helping us understand what is truly loving, kind, and authentic. As The Presence works within us, it initiates a transformation that aligns us with our higher selves.

Becoming a Spiritual Sovereign

As The Presence transforms us, we gradually become Spiritual Sovereigns—individuals who care less about societal expectations or others’ opinions. Instead, we learn to live lives of loving-kindness, free from the constraints of past programming and subconscious influences. A Spiritual Sovereign walks through life with clarity, compassion, and a deep connection to the Divine within.

How to Begin Your Journey

If this resonates with you, the journey begins with a simple desire to connect with the Source of The Presence within you. Here’s how to start:

  1. Acknowledge Its Existence: Recognize that The Presence is within you, guiding and supporting you.
  1. Invite Its Transformation: Ask The Presence—either silently or aloud—to begin its transformative work in your life.
  1. Spend Time in Silence: Set aside moments of quiet reflection to connect with The Presence. Ask it to guide you in walking your unique path with the loving kindness of a Spiritual Sovereign.
  1. Keep a Notebook Handy: Insights and answers will come, so be ready to capture them.

This is David Lowry for Presence and Peace. I wish you all good things as you begin your journey to become a Spiritual Sovereign for loving-kindness.
