Understanding the Messages of Meditation
In the practice of going within, seekers often question whether the messages they perceive are whispers of wisdom arising from their subconscious minds or a higher, Divine Source.
Hello, I’m David Lowry for Presence and Peace.
So, how can we be sure we are listening to The Presence and not ourselves? First, let me say that messages of wisdom and love, whether they arise from our experiences or The Presence, are always based on Source. All wisdom and love originate from the Source.
But as you know, we humans have a way of corrupting messages, even loving ones from Source, to suit our own wishes and desires. So, we want to offer this quick little test. The language of Presence is peace, love, and resonance.
Peace
The hallmark of The Presence’s communication is peace. Messages borne of The Presence do not incite additional conflict, drama, or internal strife. Messages that encourage revenge, getting, or messages filled with blaming and judging others are not from Source.
Messages from The Presence bring a serene clarity that soothes the soul. Genuine messages from the Source promote inner tranquility—and often a deeper understanding of troublesome people and problems.
Love
Love is the cornerstone of The Presence’s language. True messages are steeped in love, urging us to act with compassion and kindness towards ourselves and others. This love transcends mere emotions; it is a profound commitment to doing what is right and just, even when faced with unkindness or adversity. When assessing a message received during meditation, consider whether it promotes self-love and empathy towards others. A message aligned with The Presence will always encourage actions that nurture, uplift, and respect the dignity of all beings.
Resonance
Resonance is the third vital component of The Presence’s language. It is the feeling of inner harmony and alignment that signals the rightness of a message. Resonance manifests as a peaceful physical sensation, an inner knowing that what we contemplate is in sync with our highest good. This sense of resonance is a guide, confirming that we are attuned to the true message of The Presence. When a message resonates, it feels like a natural extension of our deepest values and truths, offering a sense of certainty and completeness.
Conclusion
So, now, bring your questions, heart, soul, and mind before The Presence. And as you go within, remember that The Presence will always send you a physical feeling of harmony and resonance to act in ways that reflect your inner peace and love. By applying these criteria, you can discern the authenticity of the messages you receive.
This is David Lowry for Presence and Peace. May you be filled with the beauty of a resonant life in sync with The Presence within.
